Claire Danes literally glows wearing LIGHT-UP princess dress for Met Gala.
Claire Danes has set a new standard for the Met Gala. That's after the actress slipped into an elegant princess dress, that just so happened to light-up on command. Incredible! The 37 year old was already a contender for best dressed, when she attended the event held at Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York on Monday. But she well and truly knocked it out the park, when she revealed the cherry on top the fact, that the dress could illuminate.
Sadly the amazing feature didn't quite go down a storm under the daylight on the red carpet. So designer Zac Posen had to show the world what they were missing out on when he shared a series of pictures and videos on Instagram. The posts saw Claire wearing the illuminating number in a dimly-lit room and literally glowing from within the darkness. Of course such a frock does come with its downsides, with one video showing the leading lady debating what liquids she could dare to drink in the dress.
We imagine the film star won't have any complaints though after hearing all the positive feedback. During the event social media was set alight (not quite like Claire, though) as they gushed over the frock. One person wrote: "Claire Danes dress is KILLING ME!" Another added: "Can't stop thinking about Claire Danes' dress."
A third added: "Claire Danes' dress is just everything that I want my future to be."
